Selective by standard
Who we take on.
The firm is selective about who it takes on, not because of limited space, but because Good, Good Counsel® only works within the right relationship.
Being selective is how the firm makes sure every client gets a real, ongoing counsel relationship, not a transaction. This page exists so you can tell quickly whether the fit is right, in both directions.
Who is the right fit for Schneidman Law?
The sweet spot is the entrepreneur whose business is finally working, generating roughly $1M to $20M in revenue, who wants a lawyer that knows their business, not just their file. That founder is exactly who Outside General Counsel was built for.
- Past the napkin stage, with real contracts, real relationships, and real risk.
- Has engaged attorneys only on a spot basis and walked away frustrated every time.
- No in-house counsel, and knows the business has outgrown doing without one.
- Values relationships over transactions, and wants counsel that compounds.

What other clients does the firm serve?
Buyers and sellers of businesses, and real estate clients who value efficiency
The firm handles business acquisitions and sales between $1M and $20M, asset and equity, standalone or within an ongoing counsel relationship.
And it handles real estate transactions on the buyer and seller side, residential and commercial, leases and landlord-tenant work included, for clients who want their interests protected without the deal slowing down.
Why is the firm selective?
Because the counsel relationship is the product. Depth is what makes the advice useful, and depth requires the right relationship.
Depth means knowing three things well: the business and how it actually makes money, the owner as a person, and the people around the business. That is the Good, Good Counsel® standard, and it cannot be delivered to a client the firm only half knows.

Frequently asked questions
Do you only work with Tennessee businesses?+
No. The firm is rooted in Franklin, Tennessee, serving Middle Tennessee, and trusted by clients across the country. Most counsel work happens by phone and video, so distance is not friction.
Andrew R. Schneidman, Esq. is licensed in New Jersey and authorized to practice in Tennessee (License Pending).
What if I only need help with one deal?+
Business acquisitions, sales, and real estate transactions are available as standalone engagements. Many clients start with a single deal and continue into an ongoing counsel relationship.
What does it cost?+
Counsel tiers are defined by depth of involvement, not hours, and are discussed in the first conversation. Level III, Strategic Counsel, is custom-scoped and priced.
