How we publish
Editorial standards.
Every guide on this site is written and reviewed by a licensed attorney. Legal content affects real decisions, so it is held to the same standard as the firm’s counsel: accurate, plain-spoken, and current.
What do these standards require?
- Attorney authorship. Every article carries a byline from Andrew R. Schneidman, Esq., and reflects his review, not an unattributed content team.
- Attorney review and dating. Every article shows a last-reviewed date and is re-reviewed when the law or the firm's practice changes.
- Plain language. Guides are written for business owners, not lawyers. When a legal term is unavoidable, it is defined where it appears.
- No legal advice. Guides are general information. They do not create an attorney-client relationship and are not a substitute for counsel on your specific situation.
- Corrections. If something is wrong or outdated, it gets fixed, and the last-reviewed date reflects that.
